What are Ceramic Coatings?

• Ceramic Coatings are a recently evolving trend in the detailing industry. CarPro's CQuartz is a protective layer that uses SiO2 nanoparticles to form a chemical bond between the ceramic coating and whatever substrate it is being applied to.  Much different than a traditional carnauba wax that forms a "shell" that sits on top of your paint, ceramic coatings actually bond within the clear coat to form a durable bond that lasts years.  Not only does it perform much longer than traditional wax, ceramic coatings are much stronger and have far greater hydrophobic properties. What surfaces can be coated and how much does it cost?

• Nearly all the surfaces of your vehicle can be coated including your paint, wheels, plastic, rubber, glass, leather, and interior surfaces.  Carpro has developed specific formulas for each of these surfaces to provide maximum total protection for your vehicle. Every vehicle and client has different wants and needs that have to be addressed when deciding on the type of service desired. Therefore the price is determined by the level of paint correction and prep that is required as well as which coatings are applied and to what surfaces of the car. All ceramic coatings will be assessed and estimated prior to service.
