WHAT IS PAINT CORRECTION?
The art of "correcting" paint is the safe removal of swirls, scratches, water spots, oxidation, overspray, and imperfections from different types of painted finishes.
The most common imperfections are known as "swirl marks" or "spider webbing". Surface scratches are accumulated through poor washing/buffing techniques and drive thru car washes creating what appears to be circular or web like scratches in the finish. This optical illusion is caused when a focused light like the sun reflects off the surface of your paint. By removing these imperfections the light reflecting off of a painted surface is not diffused, thus resulting in incredible shine, gloss, and a flawless mirror finish.
Deeper scratches that are below the clear coat cannot be simply be "corrected" or "buffed" out. Some deeper scratches can be improved through wet sanding or may require a touch up. This type of scratch removal is determined on a case by case basis.
